What Do You Call An Asker / Respondent / Viewer?

Posted by fongkamling on 25 Points
Hi,

I have a platform for users to ask another user question. And other users can also "eavesdrop/view" the answer. The answers can be in the form of text, audio and video.

The platform is called "PopQ" (Pop the Question) So our branding line when asking question is "Pop This Question", "Pop a Question", "Pop"....

I'm looking for a better way to call my users:

1) Asker / Questioners - doesn't sound nice? Any other suggestion?
I Tried Popper/Popster but the it actually means something bad.

2) Respondent - any cooler names?

3)Eavesdroppers - any cooler names? Where a third party view/eavesdrop of the answer and question posted by someone else.

Appreciate your help as I've been clueless what to call them for the past weeks!!!!

Thanks!

What would make a name "better?" What is the objective? What are the criteria for evaluating a name?

I have no idea what to identify and call them as when i address them now.

I would have chosen Popper / Popster if it's not because it actually meant something negative.
