Invitation To Pitch

Posted by lindy on 25 Points
I'm sourcing for a good advertising agency and was wondering how to invite agencies to pitch for my account?

What should I include in the brief to them? Is there any form or format I can use?

Write a client brief (for example, https://www.jrmyprtr.com/how-to-brief-your-ad-agency/)

Jay is exactly right: A creative Brief is the answer. The actual contents of the Creative Brief probably exist in some internal document(s) already. All you have to do is "curate" the information so that it meets the objective.

What is the marketplace like? Who exactly is your primary target audience? What is your brand/company positioning? What core benefit can your target audience expect? Who is the competition? What does their advertising claim? How/Why are you better? Etc.

If YOU were pitching for the assignment, what would YOU want to know? The more information you give a prospective agency the better prepared they will be to give you a proposal that meets your needs.
