Previously he was on the faculty in the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Just prior to that appointment, he was a consulting member of the technical staff at Bell Labs (now Lucent Technologies). He has written about technology for over 15 years in both the academic and popular press, most recently as the weekly e-marketing columnist for Upside.com. He has also acted as a consultant for a range of technology and science-based companies, including Intel, Texas Instruments, Informix, and Amgen.
With almost 20 years experience as a business journalist, she has written and edited articles, newsletters and ebooks on the subject of online marketing and advertising. In a past life she was a regular contributor to a host of publications and newspapers, including The Boston Globe, Inc., Venture, American Baby, and more obscure trade publications than she'd care to remember.
