I've been involved in marketing since I started my first "store" at age 6, selling my own home made Barbie dresses.
For years I thought fashion design was my calling. I started my lingerie design business targeting plus size women in 1992. After the first 2 years, I discovered designing the clothes wasn't my first love, but marketing them was a lot more fun. So I reliquished the roll of Chief Designer to my partner and took over the marketing end. We closed the business in 2000 when I decided to concentrate strictly on online marketing--my partner didn't agree with that and we parted ways.
I have been working independently as well as full time in marketing for a restaurant supply company (a full time gig can be a good thing sometimes--health insurance costs will kill you!).
My expertise is in branding and positioning as well as graphic design and web site consulting, tying all elements together to form a cohesive brand identity and positioning strategy.
I attended Baruch College in New York City with a concentration in Marketing Management and Economics.
