Challenges In-professional Services Marketing

Hi,

I wanted to know, what are the key challenges one faces while marketing of professional services ? Definitely ,the marketing strategy for services in today's consumer driven market has to be very dynamic. Are there any good suggestions that any one can make , for marketing of professional services of an large IT services company.

I am currently doing a reserach on possible low investment marketing strategy for IT companies.

    With products there are features and benefits. You sell on the benefits to the customer. And, in my opinion, marketing enhances the benefits in the customers mind. With professional services you need to discuss the benefits of processes in place, experience, past customer satisfaction, etc.
