    Hello Rags1345,

As you know webpages are publicly accessible system and consists of millions of smaller domestic, academic, business, and government networks, which together carry various information and services. As you question is based on what are the opportunity web solution can offer to governemnt agencies. We will discuss how websolution can improve the service opportunity in govt sector.

Today’s Internet and World Wide Web is providing so many opportunities to changing the way people live. It is also changing the way how government activities are organized in order to serve the citizens better, for example e-government (e-gov, digital government, online government or transformational government).

"e-government" is providing official information and various application forms on websites; it also giving knowledge how governments deliver better and more efficient services through computer technologies. Web solution companies can create delivery models such as Government-to-Consumer (G2C), Government-to-Business (G2B) and government to government (G2G) which is very useful.

Opportunities are when govt. policy makers and technologists work together to develop a holistic understanding so that major progress can be made. for example, online government" or "Internet-based government"—many non-Internet based "electronic government" technologies can be used, including telephone, fax, PDA), SMS text messaging, MMS, and 3G, GPRS, WiFi, WiMAX and Bluetooth.

Other technologies can include CCTV, tracking systems, RFID, biometric identification, road traffic management and regulatory enforcement, identity cards, smart cards and other NFC applications; polling station technology (where non-online e-voting is being considered), TV and radio-based delivery of government services, email, online community facilities, newsgroups and electronic mailing lists, online chat, and instant messaging technologies.

Web solution can offer there technology / web skills to generate solution in above area.

    I hope this will help!

    Regards,

    M Bhor
