Tagline Help Request

Hello everyone.

I am a bilingual graphic designer (English + Spanish). I have researched the competition to see what features are not offered, and what I can do to stand out from the competition. I noticed that nobody offered services to the Spanish Community. I have named my company graphica, which conveys my name to both the Spanish + English Community without any language conflicts.

Here are 3 of my 5 benefits listed by importance:

SATISFACTION, UNIQUENESS, CONSISTENCY

Client integration during the project cycle will render customer satisfaction. Research of competitors will provide a unique and functional design solution. English-Spanish translation will provide a consistent design and appearance in the language they prefer.

I think those are the customer benefits that will set me apart from my competition.

So here is my attempt at a tag line.

graphica - creative graphic design that speaks to people
graphica - creative graphic design that speaks your language.

Any comments would really be appreciated.

Sincerely,

rcano

RCANO,

Your clients will be from the spanish community? Should the tag be in spanish and english?

Graphica - diseñe eso habla. design that speaks

This demonstrates your unique differentiation and adds credibility

Hi Indie-design,

The taglines are as below;

1. Visual Communication
2. Design solutions for professionals
3. Convey concept visually
4. Design Principle of creativity
5. value and color
6. artes gráficas for professionals

One of the most important things that the best brands accomplish is being thought of as greater than the goods and services offered. Nike's "Just Do It" helps them rise above selling sneakers. Apple's "Think Different" is bigger than computers

I hope this will help!

Regards,

M Bhor

I'm guessing that Graphica is Graphic in Spanish?? If not, you might consider that direct translation. Or perhaps Graphicas.

Graphica - Design without boundaries.
Graphica - Art without boundaries
Graphica - All design created equal
Graphica - Because art needs no translation
Graphica - Because art is universal
Graphica - Create your own visual language
Graphica - Communicate artistically
Graphica - Art is..Art is (in Spanish)..Universal
Graphica - Your needs. Your wants. Your language
Graphica - The language of Art.
Graphica - Art without barriers.
Graphica - Translate, visually.

*Graphica - You create. We translate. Design without limits. (in italics) my favorite.

Hope it helps.
Joel,
Interlux Design

graphica - You are moving forward in a direction that will soon be crowded with real and knock-off service providers. I would like to see a statement combining your cultures in an open and honest statement.

graphica
two cultures-one company
Comprehensive, Cross-Cultural Design, and Graphic
arts

I see that you are not signed-in. Let me share with you that you may be able to secure a reasonable amount of business by exposure of your company to the members of this community. I, for one would lilke to speak with you about your services and see samples of your work. I am a full-service, international marketing firm, and may have use for your work, right away.

I do not like graphica-creative graphic design that speaks your language, because there is a possibility that my language is not English or Spanish. It may be Russian. It may be from the Middle East, it may be Hebrew...and, it would not speak my language.

It is only English and Spanish. If your statement is than, that we truly speak "your" language, then the message is askew.

Fellow Members,

Thank you in advance for all your critique.

As Randall mentioned, my phrase "creative graphic design that speaks your language" is misleading. What if a person speaks a language other than English + Spanish? Yikes! So my confidence in that tag line is quickly fading.

A quote from Design-It-Yourself-Workshop by Chuck Green states "A slogan such as JUST DO IT is successful for a company such as NIKE because it spends millions of dollars repeating the message in its advertising. A small business does not get that kind of exposure and is better off getting right to the point". Do you feel a defining phrase is better than a slogan for a small company?

I hope I am not confusing everyone by using the terms defining phrase and tag line interchangeably.

Members, do you feel a tag line should convey customer benefits?

E.g. Visa - Everywhere YOU want to be. Benefit: Convenience.

But look at my example, it is a tag line - not a defining phrase.

Sometimes...it just feels like I am whipping a dead horse.

Sincerely & respectfully submitted,

rcano
