Hello everyone,

We need to finalize on a tagline for a search engine of forums & discussion boards – the domain name is ask sootra dot com. The service is yet to be launched.

Here are some ideas...need your vote on what you think would be the best tagline.

1. AskSootra: Search the human knowledgebank.
2. AskSootra: Search human knowledge.
3. AskSootra: The Human knowledgebank.
4. AskSootra: Real Answers. Real Discussions. Real People
5. AskSootra: Answers from real people.

Let us know your vote (which ones you like and which ones are not apt & why). Other suggestions are also welcome.

I like number 3.
Number 2 would be my second choice.

The others sound a little more contrived to me than 2 and 3.

Hi,

I like number 4.

Anyone can take part inforums and discussions. It doesnt have to be the place of 'real academic knowledge' but exchange of views, opinions, experiences and etc. So Real Answers, Real Discussions and Real People sounds really cool.

Number 5 is a bit dodgy :) :)

4 gets my vote!
Good luck,
Emi

"Knowledgebank" is awkward.

I like a compilation of two of the remaining ones...

"Ask Sootra...Real answers from real people"

I like #4 it says that their is a site where people can go have a discussion, get answers, and talk to others.

Sounds great.

I like 4 since the others are opinions and not necessarily real 'knowledge'.

or

AskSootra: Ask and See All That We See!

I'm going to risk you closing this question on me, but i must tell you that i don't like any of the options you chose - they do not arouse my curiosity enoug. they are not intriguing enough - very banal. sorry.

i would, however, suggest a completely new direction altogether, instead of ask Sootra-

Sootra Tell Me -
Generations of human knowledge at your fingertips

Thank you all so much for your suggestions. I think the choice has come down to number 2 & 4.

Thanks!

I like # 4. You might want to consider reordering the words to follow a more chronological order:

AskSootra: Real People. Real Discussions. Real Answers.
