I love Peggy Garrison's, "you'll enjoy the view", ....keeping along with that, what about

"Come and enjoy the view"

"It's time for a change of view",

"Let us change your point of view"

"Innovative Eyewear...A new point of view"

Chromie, I know you started this thread looking for a tagline - but I feel I would be doing you a disservice not voicing a concern.... If you could, please Go to google and type in the word innovative. There are 651,000,000 results for that word.....

651 million instances of the word innovative makes it's choice, well, pardon the irony, not very innovative. My point is that the word has become over used and is, or will soon become, a fading buzzword (think information super-highway. Who doesn't cringe when they hear that now?)

If you still want to stick to the idea, progressive is another word that does the trick and doesn't have nearly the exposure that innovative does. You might also consider perceptive, as perception has connotations that tie in nicely with vision.....

Just a thought

At risk of derailing the thread, but I have to agree with Ward. In fact I'd go even further and suggest you take a totally new look at your naming criteria.

Innovative eyewear is a feature not a benefit. Innovative eyewear describes what you sell. It doesn't describe what the customer buys.

Keep away from what you PROVIDE; Focus on what the customer GETS. Develop a really clear marketing message that describes your VALUE to your customers, and derive the name from that.

And altho' you've probably sweated blood to come up with the existing name, my advice is to push even further. Find something truly distinctive. It may even be abstract. But it must reflect a much stronger brand promise than "innovation". Then you can look past the corny puns to something truly memorable.

Sorry to go off on this tangent, but I hope it helps.

Hi.

Name:
Optiflex
Eye2Eye
VisionTek
CrystalView

Slogan:
For your eyes only.
Re/Vision
Crystal Clear Vision

P.S. One of the larger italian eyewear manufacturers besides Luxotica, Safilo and Marcolin was Innotica. They closed last year. They came up with the "innovation" name 15 years ago.

AG :)
