Round 2 - Daycare - Name And Tagline - Urgent
Posted By: jen.mifflin on 8/17/2006 8:54 AM (CST) 58 Points
I'd like to thank everyone for their suggestions, but we still are in need of the perfect name and corresponding tagline for our daycare centre. I had thought of Tiny Tots, but unfortunately it is already licensed. Any ideas would be most appreciated. We are in need of creating a logo and signage, but need a facility name and tagline first.

HI Jen,

Try this,

1. Quality Children’s Care
2. Supervision for preschool age
3. Full Day and Flexible
4. Perfect Care for Your Kid
5. Good Day Care
6. Loving Hands
7. Live-In-Home Care

I hope this will help!

Regards,

M Bhor

Have you said previously in another question what the uniqueness is about your center, what kinds of people you are targeting, etc.? More of a picture of what you offer and who you are serving would help with naming and tagline.

As a mom, I definitely don' t like the names that sound like they are going to kid boot camp! We want to know our kids are safe, not missing us, learning and having fun! We also want to feel you care about our kids rather than they are your weekly paycheck.

Just Kidding
Pumpkin Patch
Luv N' Learn
Sonshine World
Little People's World
Time for Tots
Smiles-A-Lot Tot Lot?

I also like the Secret Garden and Great Expectatations posted above!

Hi jen.mifflin,

I'd like to know what message you want to communicate about your Daycare Center. It would help me come up with names and taglines that would reflect your message.

However, here are some suggestions that came to mind.

Names--
Little Ones
Child's Play
Kid's Haven
Playhouse
Fun Time!
Bright Minds
Active Minds

Taglines--
Your child's safety is our priority
For your child's healthy development

Hope this helps. Good luck to you!

I would ask what differentiates you from others located around you?

Do you have longer hours? Do you serve healthy food? Do you have a nurse on site?

What is the added benefit for the choosing you over someone else?

Here are a few ideas (just brainstorming & being creative):

- Lovin' Fun
- Nurturing
- Laugh & Love
- Bullfrogs & Butterflies
- Sugar & Spice DayCare
- Love, Live n' Learn
- Peanut Butter & Jellies

Hope this helps. Or at least gets more ideas & creative juices flowing.

There are some great suggestions posted in this string!

Good Luck!

Secret Garden has overtones you don't want for a childcare center. Let me know if you don't know the reference.

margec is 100 percent right. Please reconsider naming your daycare The Secret Garden. THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE POINTS. My conscience would not let me rest if I did not post this. There are two reasons I can share with you about this name. Feel free to contact me @ deni418@hotmail.com

My suggestion - Building Blocks Daycare

You can use this with any learning type progams you intend to use.

Best of luck to you.
