Tag Line For A High End Bath And Body Shop
Posted By: isaro29 on 8/18/2006 2:55 PM (CST) 250 Points
Hi all,

I'm in the process of starting a new small company - We will be making custom made bath and body and baked goods. We'll use natural and organic ingredients. Everything will be made to order. We'll be catering to those who are willing to spend more for a higher quality and personalized products.
Soon I will have a logo designed for me and I would love to have a tag line ready so that it can be incorporated in the logo design.
Here is what i have so far

Fine Living never been this special

On own bit of heaven

I would very much appreciate your input

thanks

I am very curious---What are "custom made bath and body and baked goods..."?

How did you come up with that mix?
The products do not match any single line I have heard of.

I see two different verticals.
1. Hygiene Products
2. Bread and Rolls

In your marketing plan and business plan, how did you address one marketing efforts for both verticals?

I would love to help you w/tagline...but, would like to learn more about your company position, as you envision it.

Thank you Randall,

I'm envisioning a store where woman can order high end bath & home including products such as candles and linen care something like www.sabonnyc.com

Also, check out this website: http://www.samsoap.com/custom.cfm it's the closest thing but only part of what we want to do. This illustrates the custom made part. Products will be tailored to customer specifications, thus making the product all the more unique

The food part will be gourmet treats such as french pastries and fruit spreads. All made with natural and organic ingredients.

My main objective is to attract customers who will want to buy our products as "feel good " gifts to loved ones.

Thanks

Sorry...one more question...is this store completely online, or are you opening in a mall or ??? And, in which country?

I should mention that our products will initially only be available online. We will have a "brick and mortar" store 1 one after the website launch

Thanks again

Thank you.
In my opinion, you must develop several USP's with your online store, as it will be very difficult for you to compete with all of the other online purchasing opportunities in your specific vertical.

I understand holding costs down...but, I believe it would be best if your target, women, could see, touch and smell your products. This would mean opening B&M first.

Of course, a direct mail campaign specifically into the general neighborhood you are planning to open your store...inviting them to come into your ONLINE store for "your products"...etc.

We have developed these DM programs for our B2B and B2C, that continues to provide them with your specials. If you were my client, I would advise that this type of program continue as a primary marketing tool.

I believe you must grow your B&M beginning now. Since you do not have a store...bring them to your online store...keep them aware.

It is a funny mix of products. Baked goods and bath products.

And hard to find a tag line without the company name. It has to all roll off the tongue. Nike just do it. Has a different ring to Waldbaums Just do it.

"where going natural is the custom"

"when its customary to be natural"

Thanks GL, that's not a bad one at all. I'm not too sure about the Wonder part, but I think I can definitely work with the Live well, eat well part.

thanks

V.M.M.A,

You're absolutely right about opening the physical store first. We're just not financially able to do that. What do you think about creating an informational/marketing website that we could use as a tool to inform potential customers about our upcoming company/product, sort of creating a buzz before the products is actually available. After a pre-determined time, we would open the online store.

Thanks

isaro29,

the 'Wonder' part is the result of Living and Eating Well, the result (Wonder or thrill) is now that your life is charmed and perhaps more interesting , where everything now fills you with Wonder ... even the mundane because you have enjoyed a secret or two.

Good Luck again
