Tagline For New Husband/wife Real Estate Team
Posted By: stacysomers21* on 9/4/2006 6:18 AM (CST) 250 Points
Hi
I have been a Real Estate agent for a couple of years now and my husband is joining me in the business. We are trying to come up with a theme/brand and tag line/slogan for us.

What we are about...I guess just like every other agent out there but the difference with us is... we are not about just helping people buy & sell homes but we are about assisting every client with every aspect in Real Estate. We want to educate our clients so that they may make the decision that is best for them. The difference is...the real estate does not end at the closing table, which is when most agents are done...but we are just getting started. We are always here for our clients...we are their Persoanl Real Estate Consultants.

So, how can we get that into a tag line/slogan?

About us...our market is in South Florida and our two niches are...
First time buyers and The middle-income family w/ 2/3 kids, dog & want to move into the bigger house.

Our last name is Somers

Thank you for your time and assistance!

Jim & Stacy

Thank you so far for the responses! Getting some good ideas. To those mentioning South FL in the responses - I know I said we live in South FL...but that is a big area. We actually live in a family community in the West part of Palm Beach. We don't want to have South FL or the communtiy area to be part of our slogan, etc. I guess it is just to give an idea of the families & fun & sun, etc.

Thank you so much for ideas so far & we are looking forward to seeing any other ideas!...

"Spouses Selling Houses" - Is one I like from the Lake of the Ozarks area in Missouri.

"Not just summer houses, but Somer Spouses Houses."

"Your first or second home should be a Somer Home."

"Where your first or second home is always a Somer Home."

"With this house, I thee wed."

"A marriage made in Real Estate"

"Somer homes for your first or second home."

"Every home should be a Somer home."

One of Home Builder Clients uses:
We don't move on, when you move in.

I think that is phenomenal, but of course it is TradeMarked. However you might be able to come up with a spin of it.

WOW...these are some great responses. We are meeting w/ a company that is assisting us in getting incorporated on Friday AND we are working on our marketing. So, I guess Friday morning is our "IT" day!

Thank you so much & we are looking to see what else we might get in the next day or so. Thanks

I think your tagline should be simple and i suggest the following tagline

" Welcome Home"

I just bought my first house and like the idea of a husband wife team. My agent had just had surgery so her husband assisted temporarly. it was neat. I like what you are doing.

I think that too many agents skip over the little guys and first timers to go for the big commisions but guess what, if i am 23 and buying a $140,000 house then chances are I will be moving up FAST..... help me get started and I will be your client for life. There are a ton of college grads looking for our first house.... stop looking over us. your return on my cheap house PLUS all the future houses I buy is MUCH MORE than the 1.3 million dollar mansion that my folks are buying but will live in till they die.

Build your practice to fill this niche and use one of the catchy slogans that were suggested above that appeal to a younger generation (like the Summer house play on words) and go from there. Appeal to our younger desires for fun and easygoing life and be a family to us as we make the biggest investment thus far. If someone filled this niche they would be set for life with repeat business.

Hope this idea helps you succeed.... i just realized a few months ago and I really think it has been overlooked by your industry. I hate that the only agents that will help with cheap houses are the new agents who dont know enough to handle some of the complexities of doing a first time transaction. I trully believe this is where the profit and future for you lies.

EX: (3% commision)
my parents:
at 40, buy .6 mill house = 18,000
at 50, buy 1 mill house = 30,000
TOTAL= 48,000

Me
at 23, buy 140,000 house = 4,200
at 25, buy 180,000 house = 5,400
at 29, buy 260,000 house = 7,800
at 35, buy 500,000 house = 15,000
at 43, buy 900,000 house = 27,000
at 55, buy 1.6 millhouse = 48,000
TOTAL = 107,400
