Posted By: enter_6 on 9/15/2006 5:12 AM (CST) 250 Points
Hi! All
I need a Tag Line for Advertisement of my products ( Door Hadles, Hinges, Door Closers) in Print Midea.
I am in this business for last 7 years and My Brand and my products are assosiated with very good quality , but i can;t charge the price some big companies in our industry charge , though my product quality is better then them.
Our pricing is in middle segment , our quality is in top segment so far.
From now on i just want to concentrate on building my brand Image, we are launching new range of high quality door handles , door closers ,, I need Tag Line for that . I hope I can get help here.
Q1) Please suggest a tag line for Ad
Q2) Please suggest what price Strategy should we keep for our new Product range.

it is good taht u have middle segemtnof teh market usually middle segment is hard to pin down. Also middle segment is quite tricky because it could slip into low or to upper level. Usually relying on the quality gives you strong base to jump. I would suggest that it is better strengthen ur position as strnger as possible and then it itself penetrate into the higher segment itself through ur policy.

Tagline: Handles that handle your door profoundly

Doormates all at good rates

one suggestion here you should consider targeting upper class for these new products. you already have the middle class tuned-in but as rightly put this segment can any time switch to upper or lower segment. if your quality is strong & if "challengable" to the competition or brand leaders then i would suggest to target upper segment with these new launches.

HANDLE with quality! quality & style to handle your doors!

embellish your doors with style & luxury!

Thanks for your replies , but i see almost all companies are using phrases like " Style , Security, Quality , asthetic" in the advertisement ,, I want a tag line which is totally different , and say beyond product and services...as everyone is good in these fields now.

For example i read on the Site ,, i really liked it ...
" Next time you need us , it;s going to be for ur friend"
" We do not not compete with anyone in India, we compete with the best in the world"

Can you suggest me on the lines of above 2 i mentioned,,, i can not use it as some one else is already using it , though the industry is different , by the way i am from india..

Brilliant Appearance is just the Tip of Our 'Door Hardware' IceBerg.

Subsequent lines could talk about the 9/10ths not seen below the surface of your "product package", business history, quality of materials, trained staff, prompt service etc.

Hope this is a little different for you.

Cheers.

A quality handle is the first impression of your home.
Your style of life is judged by the handle on your door

if you're going after an higher end customer then to the best of your ability know them better...Are they higher end because of where they live, the money they make or what ever the criteria is..

The fellow that owns my company and 20,000 acres of ranchland, drives an old suburban and still eats at the average resteruant...and to this day he clips coupons.
I said that to say...maybe try to hit the "better buy nerve" wihtout using all of the run-of-mill cliches.

If you say quality, service, design, luxury, you'll be like everyone else right? And since you say your brand is asscoiated with quality, then you wouldn't have to place that in an ad. As your name will saffice.

How about some off the wall ideas?

Hardware fit for a castle at garage sale prices

Thief attempts to steal door handles because they look like jewlry.

maybe I'll come up with something later.

I believe you should tell it like it is...

"Top quality at mid-range prices"

More info always helps. Depending on the number of architects you have as clients you could say something like.

More Architects Chose XYZ brand, than any other brand because they are made by....(process) Extrusion, Hand Hammered, Forged Alloys...(basically describe the process)

...And the best part is, you get outfit your entire home for 35% less than any comparable brand.

So that's the strucutre. Good luck!

What do you guys think of this
a) " Out Of The World , But not out of your reach "

b) Don't pinch Yourself

A) Vague suggestion... b) could be anything

Try a 'call to action' for your clients in your tag line.

...Shake Hands With An Architects 1st Choice!

the image of an 'offered hand' extended; as in a trusted deal and opening a door, with your product with your name on the door.

Good Luck again.
