I Need A Name For Employee Company Newsletter.
Posted By: astansell* on 9/24/2006 10:37 PM (CST) 250 Points
I have been asked to start an employee newsletter for my company. We are an air filter service company. We manufacture and service air filters nationwide. Does anybody have any ideas for the name of the newsletter. Also, what software do you recommend? I will be distributing an e-newsletter and paper newsletter.

Hey man, try using 1st mass mailer, you can form a nice message on your Outlook Express with pictures and everything then you can save it and send it via 1st mass mailer to a big group of people...

Best of luck...

I like "FreshAire" or perhaps "Clearing The Air" as the name. As for software, I recommend Microsoft Publisher.

How about
"The Vent" - airing news from XYZ company

or the following suggestions:

"Aire Quality" - company news you can use

"The Wind" - XYZ company's employee news

""Filtered" - a employee newsletter at XYZ corp.

"The Aire up There - news for XYZ corp employees"

You get where I"m going!
Best to you!

I would ask the employees to submit suggestions and offer $25 to the winner (the one you or your employoee newsletter committee likes best). We just finished our first employee newsletter. Of 300 employees, we received 97 suggestions in this manner. We're also offering a logo contest. It gets employees involved and informs them about the new newsletter.

How about Current Events accompanied by an image depicting airflow or air currents?

Good luck.

How about "Breeze" - A breath of Fresh Air from XYZ Company

You can use html as a format for your e-newsletter.
For the print version, you can use Adobe InDesign or Quark. As simple at MS Word with a decent layouting can do, too.

Hope this helps :-)

I like all the word plays I saw. FreshAir would have been my first suggestion as well. I also like Un-Filtered.

I also like the idea about a contest, that way a lot of employees will know about the newsletter even before it comes out - and honestly, somebody will come up with a name like FreshAir or something just as good and you get all the internal PR.

Good Luck
