Boring's not necessarily bad.

My firm works exclusively with health and wellness businesses.

What we find is that the best names and taglines clearly and succinctly convey what you do to potential customers. You don't want to make people guess and wonder - you want them to see it (and remember, they'll only glance for a second or two) and say "Hmmm, that sounds like it might be for me."

Plus, if your specialty is adaptive/adapted PE, it's especially important that you make it clear who your target audience is.

A good place to start is with the words your happiest customers/clients/parents use to rave about your teaching to their friends and families. Those are the words that will push the right triggers with other potential customers just like them.

Another good way to brainstorm on names/taglines is to make lists of the words that you want happy customers to associate with your business - then use those for inspiration. For example:

accessible
creative
supportive
universal
happy
fun
high-energy
accepting
etc.

When you get ready to market this, you might like to check out our free weekly e-mail business tips for wellness businesses.

Good luck and feel free to e-mail me if you have more questions!

By the way, I forgot to explain why I chose "Kids Rulez!!!"...

Here is why...

You need to create a sense of belonging. Make them feel at home.

I once heard about a dentist who had a well equipped clinic with his name carved on the brass outside his door. He had one problem though, he had no customers. Particularly because his customers were 3 footers - children, who hates the dentist!

He asked himself, what went wrong?.. And then he looked around him and saw his clinic. The dental chair was raised high, the walls filled with wordy posters, the magazine racks filled with business, golf and lifestyle magazines. The waiting area had large expensive leather sofas.

Then he thought to himself, wait a minute... I know what's wrong.

Three months later, the brass on the door outside the clinic was gone and replaced with colourful alphabets that were fun and catchy, at the eye level of a 3 footer.

Gone were the leather sofas, wordy posters and business magazines. All replaced with toys, colourful sofas, small chairs and tables, children books and colourful posters.

The dentist no longer need to raised the dental chair during treatment. He now steps down to the working area so he could work.

Since then, his business has picked up tremendously. Children loved to 'hang out' at his clinic.
