Need A Website Designer

Hi Everyone,
Can any one out there please suggest a tested web site designer or service that is reasonably priced, dependable and has a proven track record.
I just want my site designed, I will provide content , look after hosting, and SEO marketing, maintenance etc
I just need a designer that I can trust and have the work finally done.

PS I need a 5-10 page set up with a non flash header. Static to start with the flexibility to evolve to a more interactive and ecommerce site over time.

I have worked with a graphic designer/art director that I think is quite good. I'll be glad to give you his contact information if you'll contact me privately. (Click on my screen name for the email address.)

You should know that he's from the "less is more" school, and keeps things clean and simple. I find that much more effective than some of the services I've used that work from modified templates and try to include multiple features.

He actually likes to use Flash, but even the static versions are quite good. I'm sure he will avoid Flash if that's what you want, but you might ask for it both ways, just to see what you're giving up.

As for his fees, it depends on what you consider reasonable. Because he's retired, he has no overhead and reflects that in his estimates (and fees). He's not "cheap" though, because he knows he's good ... and his clients all think they've gotten a real bargain.

Hello all, how are you doing?
Well man, I'm living in Lebanon at the moment and I've worked with a graphic designer who turned to be really talented and very professional, according to prices in Lebanon he's one of the best and most expensive but according the US prices, Lebanese prices are very cheap.

So I believe that you can get him to do your website for less then 2000USD or something...

So if things didn't work with the other guys send me an email so I'll reply with his contact information...

I would recommend a compnay called OpenBook Technologies. They have a soft ware system called hydraCMS. It is a user/novice friendly system that provides the templates and allows you to totally control the content, design, changes, number or pages, etc. It is very reasonably priced, and can grow with you. I highly recommend you contact Jeremiah Reistetter at reistetter@openbooktech.com. I will also send him a copy of your request.
