Free Or Very Cheap Advertising

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
Hello, Im a 1099 loan officer and I am looking for cheap to free andvertising/leads. Currently I use bandit sign (with a reall good response) and now I am buying leads at $3 a pop, that seems like they may pan out. I use free title leads for cold calling (hard but the best method) and I am wondering if i left any cheap/free method out. Thanks

Consider buying telecom lists and cold calling to cross sell- they are similar to loans- monthly billing, limit etc

Websites for jobs have databases of people with contact details. You will have the advantage of knowing age, demographics, education, number of years of work experience & job designation and thus an idea of income levels before you call them to sell loans.

mojojo...sososo what happens when you run out of cheap, free lead sources, your bandit signs have been removed by the neighborhoods disgusted with sign blight, and you must produce on your own?

What will you do then? Advertising is not always about let's find the cheap stuff. Advertising is about finding high-quality, long-term clients, begin to develop referrals, and move in bigger circles.

Many of the tactics described by you initially, are those who are trying to "help clear your credit" for free or for $20. And truthfully, those are a blight on any neighborhood.

I am wondering whether you missed high-end cliente due to the tactics you have used, and whether credibility may be an issue to overcome as you launch a legitimate advertising/marketing program.

Sorry, I do not know what "free title leads" are - it sounds like it is publicly available information on real estate transactions... (please correct me if I'm wrong) but if using such a source, please be sure you check the phone numbers against the Do Not Call list. Years ago, you could call anyone for just about anything. Today, there can be SUBSTANTIAL penalties for calling folks in the National Do Not Call registry. Here is one place you can look for info: http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall/
