Need Creative Title For A Client
Posted By: rbooth3399* on 10/24/2006 10:05 AM (CST) 250 Points
I have a client who's an expert in the Law of Attraction. She is a personal coach and seminar leader who sells a line of tapes to help people visualize their success. She wants a creative business title for herself.

While Change Agent would work, it's a little cold. And I know she loves my title: Marketing Goddess, but I hesitate to suggest Goddess of Change to her as we network within the same circles.

The company's name is Imagery Connections.

I like "XYZ Counsel" or Counselor... e.g., Professional Counsel, Lifestyle Counselor, Personal Counselor. Consultant also works and Life Coach is a good standby.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately the client thinks those types of titles are too "bland". She has alliances with a Jewelry Queen and a CN Guru, so she's seeking something creative and fun.

Isn't it upto her clients to give her a title? What do they call her?

She could bill herself as "A Motivational Speaker on the Psychology of Attraction".

Compass Rose

The "rose" term arises from the fairly ornate figures used with early compasses. A fleur-de-lis figure, evolved from the initial T in the north wind's name Tramontana, is sometimes used to indicate the north direction. Similarly, on old maps the east was marked with an L for Levante, or with a + indicating the direction of Jerusalem from the point of view of western Europe's countries.

Sounds like she guides but doesn't force a clients direction towards their desired destination.

Personification of a Compas Rose is more fem. but a little classier than some other options.

... hope this helps get things going!

Compass Rose is genius!!! I vote for NovaHammer. It hits the wavelength you describe beautifly and the marketing you could do around that name, the artwork and the whole package. And since RED is in (see MarketingProfs Blog above) you could use that for charity too. I will check back to see what you chose.
