Tagline Needed For Beach And Cruise Travel Agency
Posted By: gouldigirl on 10/29/2006 12:08 PM (CST) 250 Points
Hello
My travel agency specializes in beach and cruise vacations. I need a catchy tagline to go along with my logo. My market is not limited to families or retirees ... but covers pretty much the population in general. I have come up with some, but am not satisfied and would like some expert advice. The two directions I have gone in are 'the dream' element which although I like, I think is overexposed (unless you can come up with something unique) and the other plays on the sun, fun aspect. Help!

"You've earned it"
"Fun in the Sun"
"Taking Time Out"
"Play in the sun"
"Cruise in luxury"
"Vacation means to vacate"
"Tell us where your leisure lies"
"Memorable Vacations"
"Preserve your Fun"
"Unmatched Luxury"
"Cruisin Along"
"Your Dream Team"
Good luck with it!!

Try seeing if you can use any of the popular songs on lazing around in the Sun-

Nada Como En Solo- Nothing like the Sun ( Sting)
Here comes Fun & Laughter
Soak Up the Fun ( Due apologies to Ms Crow)
Come- soak up the sun
To help you lighten up

Some more ideas:

(also, what is the logo you wanted the tag to go with?)

Stop dreaming and get away.
Stop dreaming and sail away.
Here's to Sand, Surf and New Memories

Sail away to a lifelong memory
Sand, Surf, Fun & Smiles
Your dream, come to life

Live your dream
If you're looking for sun...
A Cool Breeze & Palm Trees

Good Luck,
Jo

It would really help to know the name of your agency, if you don't mind sharing it.

In the meantime, I like Jo's suggestion: "Stop dreaming and get away"

or:

Stop dreaming and go.

Just go.

Relaxation starts here.

Memories start here.

Your dream starts here.

What are you waiting for?

Sun. Fun. Sand... You.

Hi all,
I just love the suggestions!!! So glad I found this site!! The company name is ...well 'Beach and Cruise Vacations' (original huh) and logo kinda abstract side view of ship and big sun and palm trees in foreground. Thanks!!!

In that case, since your name is kind of long, I'd go with a shorter tagline and one that doesn't contain "and."

I now like:
Beach and Cruise Vacations
Memories start here

or
Beach and Cruise Vacations
Just go

Good luck -- Let us know what you decide!

Hi all,
I cannot thank you enough for your interest and comments. Hmmm much to think over and I was really torn between the one I am choosing and two others posted by different folks.

I really liked the emotional play on 'deserving, earned, spoil yourself.
The second was the sun, fun, sand ... you
but after much deliberation, and checking out that the phrase is not copyrighted, I am going to go with
Soak up the Fun!

Thanks again!

How about:

Memories made here

Forget reality, remember you

Get away from the everyday

Wouldn't you rather be...here?

Travel the world or your heirs will.

This one sentence closes more sales than any other when selling to the baby boomer market.
