I agree with AndrewS.

Keep it simple. Associates sounds dignified, and who really does not want a job that sounds dignified.

It you want to be cutesy and think outside of the box for a title, you can try:

Idea Harvesters
Cultivators
Nurturers

Ok, I am sure I can think of more. If I do, I will post again.

Good Luck!!

Michael

I like Associates
The farm sounds to much like slave labor.
I also like The Think Tank
but keep it traditional and give those
that show merit a chance to move up.

What do they call themselves? If you've already got something in your company culture, stick with it. I found that at other companies, when management/marketing tried to dub us with a new name, it didn't stick. We were already calling ourselves Qers (our company name ended with a Q), and the name suited our culture... just my $.02.

Personally, I like "Farmers."

Hi... thanks for the responses so far..

well, I personally like I-farmers and Ideafarmers

We're primarily an IT organization. I understand that farmers sounds a lill harsh but that pretty much goes with the org. name

Ideafarms the name is a farm and employees/workers(distorted version) are called as I-farmers

Stay away from associates... here is a link to a nice little rant about associates...
http://quadcities.craigslist.org/rnr/224064842.html

it expresses an employee's thoughts on the term associate.

How about "Neurons" or "Synaps" afterall, they're what generates ideas on a chemical level.

G'luck
