Tagline For Leadership Organisation
Posted By: shan* on 11/28/2006 2:02 AM (CST) 25 Points
I'm elected as the 2007 president of a local chapter of Junior Chamber International, a non profit organisation for young entrepreneurs and leaders. JCI mission is to contribute to the global advancement by providing opportunities for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility and fellowship necessary for positive change.

I'm brainstorming for a catchy 2007 tagline/theme, one that has more 'oomph'. My committee members are focusing on team spirit and team excellence. Any suggestions?

Leadership today - Leaders tomorrow

I don't know if this has any interest for you, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to post, since I was a VERY active Jaycee for many, many years. I held local, state and national positions and even started a new chapter.

Good luck on your year!

Brilliant ideas! However, I'm looking for shorter lines, long sentences does not seem to deliver the impact. Love:
Where Potential Become Reality
Teamwork, Excellence, Adventure
Leadership Today - Leaders Tomorrow

The past 2 themes used were 'Make A Difference' and 'Turning Ordinary Into Champion'. I'm looking for some kind of continuity..

Thanks for the input, hope to see more creative juice flowing.

p/s: Fancy meeting a fellow Jaycee here :) yeah looking forward to a great year & spread the Jayceesm spirit around. Jaycee Rocks! :)))

Deni,

Congrats to your daughter!

FYI - I was part of the early activist team that struggled to open the organization to women. My local chapter voted to go against the national organization and admit women members, which resulted in us getting thrown out of the "official" Jaycee organization.

I'm glad to see that is now behind the organization.

Thank you for your contributions! Really appreciate that. It did indeed give me lots more creativity to create my theme.

My apologies for not giving more details. Actually the members are between 18-40, not kids anymore :))

Vevolution, luckily your chapter fought for women's rights! What a story to tell my female members :)

Cheers,
