Wiltnot My Flowers
Posted By: norsuhir8504 on 12/1/2006 2:16 AM (CST) 25 Points
I'm selling a product that is called Wiltnot. It is a very unique product that helps to prolong the lifespan of flowers by up to 50% longer. It greatly reduces wilting. I want to market internationally via e-commerce. Pls help.

If your looking to market it internationally, first i would start with a website. (You may already have one.)

Then put out ads in gardening magazines.

Maybe you could have some sort of refer a friend thing on your website.

There is a company that specializes in capturing the name and e-mail of your customers or people that visit your website. This way you could do 100% permission based e-mail marketing to create loyalty and to stay in front of your customers on a monthly/bi-monthly basis.

Check out this link to a 2 min clip: [URL deleted by staff]

Send me an e-mail if you need any more information on this type of marketing.

Hello,

I would try to get a one or more of the floral exchanges to carry your product. These are the people who sell flowers and more and more to florists. They are located in every major city (at least in the USA) Send them free sample with your pitch.

Good Luck,
Jo

PS. Search Google for one nearby to start with and take them in some samples

Contact this fellow. I've done business with him from our www.couleepickings.com business. He's very well connected and does a lot of business across a wide area. Contact Erwin at: http://www.galeswholesale.com

Hi
I think it depends on the price that u r offering, how much does it cost for the customers
then for working in international market I think u should find countries which their people are interested in flowers and want to pay for keeping them alive
good luck

I suggest

http://www.burpee.com/
http://www.weedsaway.com/
http://www.bellefleurny.com/
http://www.flowerbud.com/
http://www.smithandhawken.com/index.jsp;jsessionid=G3N1ADTDOGELACTLNKFFAFQK...

I have sold through all of them in the past.

also have you spoken to a rep from 1 800 flowers? worth following up without know too much about your product. The experts on this site in the top 25 are pros that you can also do a search on and get help.
