Help!!! Need Sales Desk Name
Posted By: Brainiac* on 12/18/2006 5:43 AM (CST) 1000 Points
Hi,

We at Citibank India have a concept of setting up sales desks at corporates which have their employee salary accounts with us to cross-sell our products. The products to be sold are Personal Loans, Home Loans, Credit Cards etc. and the concept is to make the customer feel that he can get all the possible products under one "Citibank Umbrella". I need to urgently brand these desks,i.e., think of a catchy name for these desks. It could be something as simple as the "Citi Sales Desk" but I need something catchier (and need it fast). So please help!!!!!!!1

Puneet,
I have seen the desks in my previous organizations, and so could related a bit with them. If I understand it correctly, you intend to put kiosks inside the premises of companies, and offer your products to the employees.

The first name that came to my mind was "CitiShop", but unfortunately, the name already exists! Am not sure of the rights.

Few other suggestions -

- CitiStop (version of this IS there already, though)

- CitiWorld
- MyCiti
- Citi-zen

You could work on these further, if something connects with you.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Puru

Brainiac,

I was thinking "Citi-Complete" relayed the message you want but it doesn't roll-off the tongue the I would like it to. Perhaps you can refine it a bit.

Hope this helps,
John

Could use an alternative spelling for Citi Shop and go with Citi Shoppe

Some others to keep the ball rolling:

Citi Center
Citi Money
Citi Exchange
Citi Bonus
Citi Works

Puneet,
Another Suggestion -

Considering that your intent is to get a larger share of customer's wallet, the offerings should encourage greater loyalty towards the umbrella brand.

Something that you could look at: "Simply-Citi"

other ideas:

OneCiti

Red Umbrella
... your one stop Citi shop

(the roof of the kiosk could look like a red umbrella)

Easy Citi
(I also like Simply-Citi)

You're getting a lot of good ideas. Have fun and good luck!

Are you allowed to use the special branding as per the Citi brand Architecture process? So that Citi bank & your new Sales Desk can coexist!

As for names, if allowed to use, rather than creating, I'll Borrow from others:

Citi Centre

One Citi / 1 Citi / 1st Citi

Complete Citi

I've tried to improvise things that are more Indian, easy to the tongue and not complicated enough for the drop in customer to feel worried about not remembering later.

Kudos
