Girls Clothing Store Name And Tagline
Posted By: Debbie on 1/20/2007 12:41 PM (CST) 250 Points
Looking to open up a boutique for girls 1-10 that sells accessories and upscale branded clothing. I need something catchy that reflects fun and hip but doesn't limit me to an age group, as there is a big leap in thought from say a five year old girl to an eight year old girl. I came up with a list of about fifty but having trouble really grasping onto one. Some examples would be Trendy Girls, Harbor Girls (for the location of where we are opening) Girl Avenue....so I am open to suggestions and taglines. Thanks :-)

Debbie,
Girls aged 1-10 should have something simple, and something which they can emulate.

Few Suggestions:

(a) Patricia (derived from patricius) - "Dress up like a Queen"
or Patricia - "Dress up like a Princess"

(b) Gracia

(c) Elegance - "Thats me!"

(d) Fiona (character of Shrek) - "The dream of a princess" or "The Dream of a queen"

You could explore some/any of these, based on the theme you are looking at.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Puru

Chances are that Girls 1-10 will not have too much of a say in which brand their moms buy for them. They might have a say in the clothes they pick up. So pick a brand name that is appealing to Mothers/ Parents as well.

Thank you so much for everyone's feedback. I really like the idea of a foreign language name, but we want to keep it easy for little girls to say and remember. We really are struggling between two names. Harbor Girl (as it is on the Harbor) or Girl Avenue. We will also be conducting themed parties on premise in addition to the retail portion of the business. Thanks everyone and keep these wonderful ideas flowing. :-)

These are wonderful. Thank you everyone for the suggestions. We decided after much debate to go with Harbor Girl. I sincerely appreciate all the ideas and suggestions. Now all I need is a tagline. I was thinking...."We grow in Fun"....it is fashion oriented so Idon't know if that is good enough..
