I need a name for a software, its a software for business management purposes. Any business can use the software to manage: Human Resources, Documents, Inventory, Vehicles and Projects.
It should be easy to remember and possibly short.

I would appreciate your help.

Thank you for respond. And sorry for the poor description!

Software features are as folows:

Human Resources manager, holds all the data about the employees in the software, PAYROLL is generated through the software, also LEAVES are managed there, employee REQRUITMENT and TRAININGS are manged through the Human Resources module too.

Project Managers use it to monitor the progres of the projects, Tasks are assigned through the software (completion reports), also weekly reports are generated there too. Analysis about the project and staus VS budget and time are instant.

Documents module is used to share documents among the staf, documents can be public or restricted etc.

Invontory module, all the assets and materials are listed there. Inventory reports are generated there, finances use this module to get asset depreciation reports.

Vehicles, the vehicle maintenance is managed through the software, insurance details and "end of insurance" alerts. Fuel etc.

Thanks, hope I managed to descride the software better.

Can you help us understand why someone might want this software? Is it the best for each application, or is it best for some and not for others?

Is there an advantage to using one package to do many things, as compared to getting the leading software package for each application?

Said another way, what is the key benefit you offer?

We'll have to know that before we can help you very well.

The software is modular, one or more modules can be installed and used.
The core module of the is the "Human Resources" module, all the other modules are not mandatory to be installed, but are linked with HR.
So at least the HR module should be installed when software is purchased, than the others can be added easily.
But anyway the name should not highlight the Human Resources, since the other modules are much more used in daily basis.

Most of our clients use: Human Resources + Documents + Inventory.

Thanks
Ardall

Hi,

Based on the key modules that you've said your clients use, how about:

HR-DIrect

Nothing springs to mind that doesn't include the HR element yet...

Regards,
Lucy

Shared services and implementation of such as a method of increasing productivity and decreasing costs while improving collaboration is probably the key for marketing this software. To appeal to the business need, I would suggest a name that would appeal to the executive decision-maker(s). A few ideas:

Head Office
Pro Org
Frontline
Biz Unit Central
Function Plus
Expert Org

Hi, DaKing!

You may want to consider:

The Business Lab (overall software bundle)
The Business Lab: HR (module)
The Business Lab: Documents (module)
The Business Lab: Inventory (module)
The Business Lab: Vehicles (module)
The Business Lab: Projects (module)

Anyway, you get the idea. Have one central name and then brand subsequent modules.

Best of luck!

This works closer on an ERP package. And there is no dearth for Biz productivity applications in the tech world...they invent a 100 everyday.

In this scenario, are you capable of fighting the war out there. As USP, if you search on net, is nil. So how much marketing muscle you can flex, and the no. of positive touchpoints with the prospects will pave way for the future. Who knows, maybe it is another Oracle or Jd Edwards in the making.

Also, since its on a rack or module basis, and additions and deletions are possible, the convenience of buying the applications from a suite exist.

So architecture of the brand should be xxxxSuite version Y.1 - HR Manager etc.

Now lets attempt some names:

ORG+ Suite (oooaaarrrrrgeee plus suite)

Improver 2 Suite

SuperBiz Suite

EZB - Easy Business
Making your business easier
Management Decision Making Tracking etc...

You could play with those words that ultimately are key words to describe what the software actually does.
