Seeking Brochure/business Flyer Templates Online
Posted By: rav.jaiya on 2/12/2007 10:56 AM (CST) 25 Points
Hi Community,

I have beed trying to download templates for a unique business brochure/flyer for my Marketing Communications Service Online.

I have tried one site: brochuremonster.com, however it has a problem with the cart/buy page- the link won't take you there. Must be "outside the box", "visual", "creative", "innovative" templates to choose from....

Your suggested websites to buy/download from would be welcomed gladly.

Now that I have some time on my hands I seek to work on this project myself, then out to tendor.

Kind regards,

Rav Jaiya

"Unique" and "Template" are contradictory terms.

Any design that is "outside the box", "visual", "creative", and "innovative" is going to be custom, by definition.

Jeff is exactly right, if you want something unique you have to pay a designer to create it. Here are some template sites though:

http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&q=brochure+template

With how many forums I frequent, I can't tell you how many times I almost regged GoogleItForMe.com, lol.

You could also try Microsoft's brochure templates:

Good luck.

Of the ones you will see in the Google search, www.stocklayouts.com is probably your best bet with the most variety and professional designs.

I appreciate your comments, I have my own ideas set in stone, but is doesnt hurt to see what's out there. When I said "unique", "outside"- the box I meant the graphics on the templates themselves. I know that I would need to have the skills of a Graphic Designer to make it a "Custom Design"... My Marketing Experience shows that it is always wise to check out the marketplace first. Many Thanks for your searches, I have those already...

msumner1.....thanks. I have already been onto stocklayouts.com, there templates are very boring & simplified.

check out: brochuremonster.com- more visually appealing, as mentioned their buy/checkout area of the site is not working, I have emailed them, so slow in responding, are they running a business or what????

To each his own I guess. I found brochuremonster.com to be full of clip art and stock computer generated graphics that were just thrown in the center of the flyer. They also have almost no selection, and there are many flyers that show up in multiple, unrelated categories.

What are you trying to create a flyer for? Maybe that would help me find something closer to what you are thinking of. If you say business I'm going to assume professional. If you say you're trying to make a flyer for a night club, that would completely change what I show you.

I am creating a flyer for a online marketing communications business.

It will most likely take the concept of a gift wrap idea on the front, so you take away the cover and peep within...

This then shows you our services:

unique business directory
creative design- invites, brochures, menu's
event solutions, project managing event, occasion or seminar

I know that I can quite easily go to a graphic designer/printer withy my conecpt idea...
Everything in ICON format....
Comments appreciated on brochuremonster.com too!

Hi.....no offense, but should you really be offering "creative design" as a service, when you're having this much difficulty creating your own brochure design?

PetePallett,

Why are you so quick to judge people!

I find your remarks pathetic and patronising. I am not having difficulty in my own brochure design.

As a skilled Marcoms guy, why should I go straight away to a designer and pay high origination costs when I can do it myself to start off with.

Cheery picking ideas form here and there, why not?

As a Creatologist, you should be inspring people?

Rav,

I hope, for your sake, that your potential market doesn't have the same attitude as you about buying professional services!

Pete,

Guess it doesn't help to start with "no offense"! I think Rav got his 25 points worth.

folks, i appreciate your comments. remember you are talking to marcoms guy that doesn't really need to work with ad agencies/creative agencies and all that hype that make you pay extortionate origination costs. i know what i am doing? i have my ideas just contemplating on a few issues, before i reach my goal. i've done it all before and so many of them produce what they've produced for a competitor? so are you guys going to prove that it would be an idea to invest in your creative talents? lol

Glad to hear you are so self sufficient, Rav. Sorry we couldn't help.

It's always interesting to see how folks from around the world phrase things. For example, you say, "I have my own ideas set in stone". We would express that just a bit differently here in the States.
