Hello marketing experts! We are elated to have found this site! :)!!! We have a problem keeping us awake at night! We've been in business since 2002 and our business has evolved to the point where we know what we really want to focus on (FINALLY) - and know that we need to set ourselves apart from the multitude of professional organizers in Seattle (and surrounding areas). You've likely seen the shows - 'Mission Organization' for one ... Professional Organizing is truly a growing business!
We have chosen to offer more than professional organizing services and work as Personal Assistants, Home & Office Assistants and provide an additional new service: Home Inventory for Loss Prevention.
In other words - we work at simplifying & enhancing the lives of busy families and executives at home and in their home-based offices - but SOMETIMES, on a small business scale as well - where we will go in and analyze current filing systems - office furniture placement, etc - in order to help them be better organized...yet we are not qualified 'efficiency experts' per se.
There really isn't another business quite like ours - this is why we're having a heck of a time coming up with a tag line! Our company is Organize To Order (Professional Organizers & Assistants) and we may be interested in franchising in the future. At one point, I was thinking of the tag line 'from closets to conference rooms, we're the professionals' but this doesn't work when we use 'Professional Organizer' in the by-line.
We are members of the National Assoc. of Professional Organizers and organizing is really the major focus of our business, but we have chosen to stand apart from the many competitors by offering these additional services.
Our logo is being redesigned without so much focus on 'time' since 90% of our competitors use the concept of 'saving time' in their taglines. We are simply removing the silver guy...keeping everything else the same. One competitor (Eliminate Chaos) uses 'More Time for Life' as her tag line... Another (the Clutter Patrol) has a catchy logo and tagline 'Cleaning up the neighborhood...one house at a time!' -
Also ...we seem to attract clients that are 'overwhelmed' (alot of chronic disorganization) but we would really prefer to attract the attention of people who are simply too busy - and who would benefit from having a home or office assistant as well as a Professional Organizer.
Our current tag line...'Take Back Your Time' is not working for us any longer and before we consider a major marketing push; (new website, etc) - we need to come up with something that says more about what we really do. ... something that tells clients that when they call on us - we will help them simplify their lives at home and at work - but in a more 'catchy' way. Help! I'm going nuts and may fire myself from our marketing department! :) |
