Tagline For Children's Fitness

Posted by Anonymous on 375 Points
Hi,

Can you help me create an image through an appropriate tagline for a business name and a marketing theme? These are separate, but related. I need two things.

1. Help with a Tag for the business description. e.g. family fun and fitness center; children's fitness and family fun center, or, some other description.
2. Help with a Tagline that communicates to the taget audience: Parents and kids ages 3 to 9 years.

Business Name: Jumping Gym, Family Fun and Fitness Center

They don't want to be tagged as a traditional fitness center, but rather as:

"a fun and convenient active play and fitness alternative for kids and parents."

State goals are:

1. To bring families together and make them healthier and happier for a lifetime of fun and fitness.

2. To make fitness and nutrition entertaining and fun.

3. To provide an open, relaxed and playful environment for parents to bond with their children.

They don't want to be percieved as a traditional fitness center.

• Children want to come because it is FUN!
• Parents bring their children because they believe it is a healthy alternative and good for their kids.

They provide structured programs and classes that promote children’s fitness and family health, and a safe, secure and entertaining environment for active play and parties.

Thank you.

    Hi WWBriggs,

Hope you're having a great day. Thanks for such a wonderful question.

    Here's something to think about.

Why not involve the customer?...How about having a name contest?... What might be the best ideas your customers can offer toward your new tag line? See what might be the best ideas your customers offer. At least this will allow you to see what their perception is of the place where they come to hang out or at the very least with will reveal how they imagine your organization to be.

I've engaged clients many of times to do this and to glean from this very valuable resource. You might be amazed at what occurs. Allow your customer to take ownership in the process. If this was the beginning of an idea I can see the depth of leaving the customer out because you're building a target market. Right now you have a customer base that will offer advice that will lead you down the path to other customers like them. The only question is do you want customers like them or are you looking for a different customer base.

Framing words for a target audience is both a science and an art. Give yourself the greatest opportunity to make this a successful venture. Think about what you would like the out come to be. I like keeping ideas simple so I'm only offering two simple but powerful solutions. This will stimulate the emotion in the Analytical mind and the Creative mind of your customer.

    ... Healthy Family Fun
    ...Fun Family Fitness

REMEMBER... our only real problem in life is our failure to be "MORE Creative" than we’ve ever been. If you “Invent” your opportunity YOU WILL most definitely create your future. I'm only an email away from you if you need my help. Is there anything else I can do for you?

I like Fitness For the Fun of It.

Beware of anything that suggests it's a place that only fit family's go. This will scare away people who NEED to go there.

It's a great idea and I wish you the best of luck!
