Name For A Financial Service Organization
Posted By: rajanaravinds on 3/23/2007 10:14 PM (CST) 500 Points
Hi,
I am venturing into online based financial intermediary services, where customers can gather information on loan products by number of Banks and financial institution and take a well informed and researched decision on their loan requirements, and they can also get the loan process done through us.

I have a few domine name registered all starts from honeybee ex.www.honeybee.in. I have the developed website and other infrastructure ready. Now when it comes to company registration, i have been alloted honeybee consulting. Actually i opted for honeybee Pvt Ltd. Now if only i have to include a word like consulting, i just want to know what or the other options like honebee services ext.

I just want to have appropriate name for my company that if not reflects my business, should not mean anything that i am not.

Would highly appreciate your expert opinion and suggestion.

Thanks a lot

I think an "e" after Honeybee sounds quite awkward, unless you want to run the two together, e.g., "honeybee loan." So here's another way to go:

Honeybee Online
or
Honeybee Online Loans
... We do the research & processing. You get the ideal loan.

... We research & process your loan, saving you time & money.

(The name "Honeybee Online" would make it easier to expand your business to other financial areas in the future).

I'd "stick" with "Honeybee Financial" and if you are required to use the word consulting - I would suggest "Honeybee Financial Consulting"

Good Luck

"HoneyMaker" would be a fun word to play with

There IS a way to keep some synergy with your honeybee URL and equity, and your actual business. I don't know if it is applicable in your neck of the woods, but the phrase "beeline" here represents the fastest, shortest way to get somewhere. "Make a beeline for the house." The "Beeline" expressway in Florida.

Anyway, there's some obvious positive spin to getting complete financial choices quickly, directly, etc., so maybe something like

"Beeline Financial Services" or, the ad call to action

"Check out Beeline On-Line, at ____

Anyway, just a thought since those two things came together in my mind.

Hello again,

I like TommyValentine's suggestion, but because you're already planning on honeybee, I'd change it slightly and use a tagline playing into "sweet." Here are some examples:

Honeybee Money
... Need a loan? We'll capture the sweetest deal on the net.
... Research & processing for the sweetest loan possible
...We do the research & processing. You get a sweet deal.

If you get into other financial services later, you can still use the "sweet deal" to describe other services.

Cheers!
karen

Hello Guys,
Heartfelt thanks for your effort and for the expert inputs. The quality of suggestion really amazed me and each one is nice and right in its own way. Some of the points really made me think, how come it didn’t stuck me, should I reconsider calling me a Marketing professional.

Palak, Karen, and Ravee deserve special mentioning for their extra effort. As you have shown your sincerity, it’s my turn. It all started nearly a year back, when entrepreneur bug bite me. I thought of doing something on my own having got bored by regular consulting- advising client to do this and that. (By the way, I am qualified marketer with MBA (UK) and EDBA from Singapore with around 10 years of rich and diverse international experience). Then I ventured into this loan and financial intermediary services. This is online & offline model. The website and software is 90% over and I even have put it in the server to see how it works, but not yet launched. As you guys have taken this much effort and keen to know more about the business to help me more I am giving the URL; www.honeybeeindia.com for you to visit and give me feedback as a privileged first set of people to do so (earlier I thought I should go for feedback once the site is fully over).

Would highly appreciate your feedback, I have even given a feedback form in the bottom right of the home page, if you want to use it otherwise.

At once, my sincere thanks.

Rajan
