Tagline For Law Firm
Posted By: jakestar on 3/28/2007 12:11 AM (CST) 250 Points
Hi, i'm looking for a tagline to define Thorough, compassionate and thoughtful. This will be used for a law firm that works on family estates.

Thank you all for your assistance.

Blessings,

Jake

How about:

"In your best interests"

or

"In the best interests of your family"

I'd keep it simple...

"We Care"

No bullshit, just showing you care means you have the best interest, you are compassionate and thorough...

Hi,
It would help if we knew the name of the law firm, or is it just the lawyers' names ("Smith, Jones and Brown")?

I like the words you've used to describe the company. I especially like the two "t" words (and because thoughtful and compassionate have almost the same meanings, I think you could just use the two). It would be good to communicate that but also the huge benefit to the customer. So an idea for a tag is:

"Safeguard your legacy. Thorough & thoughtful legal advice."

Or another idea, that implies compassion and individual attention (thoroughness) without saying it:

"Protecting legacies, one family at a time."

Good luck!

The name of the firm is only the lawyers name, Allan Krom and company (not the real name but first letter is the same in case it makes a difference).

The feedback on this has been great so far but i'd like a few more ideas.

Jake

Try to dodge the cynicism that is almost automatically unleashed by the "we care" type of wording heard too often in many categories. (That's why I like Karen's ideas among the above.)

Here are a few more for the "pile" ---

Real concern. Real help.

Thoroughly in your family's corner.

Shielding your family with experience.

Looking forward to the future. Looking out for your family.

Our clients are not "estates." They're people.

Thoughtfulness. Thoroughness. Trust.

Can we talk...I mean really talk?

_Is this your first foray in the business world (on your own?) If so, you may make a successful market entry by listening to your potential customers (clientele.) Please, ignore the professions' self-conceits. No one really is convinced of the self-compliements; sounds like political lip-work.

_Ask yourself, just what is the level of trust most people have once hearing the word, lawyer or, attorney? Does "thorough, compassionate and thoughtful" reach top-of-mind? Are folks reassured by these words? Disingenuous and hypocritical come to mind. (Also, you must recognize that these are mortician keywords, not the words a thorough-going attorney would associate with his practise.)

_And, the profession truly has grave problems in all levels of service to the public; not the least of which is incompetence. (Attorneys are self-regulated, so incompetence and malpractice goes a long way; only physicians come close to this free-ride on the public.)

Sounds bad so far, doesn't it?

Not really! Because, this is your competition's problem. If your practice really is competent and honest, the competition is due for a resounding shock.

Frankly, I would spend more time assembling 'white papers' for the clientele on hot button issues. Then, offer these free reports through an auto-responder emailing, followed by a 'tip-of-the week.'

I'd also get away from "a law firm that works on family estates." You are an attorney, not a gardener. You are always available with full information - now. Not later. Now.

(And, you're going to save their butt!)

Now, that is an attorney.

Steve
