Magazine Distribution
Posted By: Steve* on 6/16/2004 9:55 AM (CST) 250 Points
We are planning to produce a free directory of services magazine that we would like to place in doctors offices and pharmacies. Are their companies that can be hired to provide this type of distribution? Also, I see many free publications, such as real estate guides and automobile classifieds, placed in local retail stores. Are their companies that can be hired to provide this distribution?

Thanks,

Steve

Hi there,

A PR firm, marketing firm, or advertising firm can help in consulting you on the best methods. They also often offer these kind of specialized services for the type of distribution you are looking for.

I'd list some, but there are so many, and you may want to look into/research companies in your area that would specialize in this sort of thing.

As a matter of fact, I happen to be very close someone who specializes in national magazine circulation management.

Please send me an email (just click on my name) and I will put you in contact with him so you can discuss what needs to be done.

I hope I am able to help you!

Look forward to your reply...

There are companies which can do the job for you but if your directory is localized, then you can also contact newspaper vendors who will have a database and the necessary logistics to distribute your directories. You can also look for companies which distribute magazines to get access to a database of doctors etc. To get a database of pharmacies, just look up in your local yellow pages and then simply mail them your directory copies. You need not spend too many dollars trying to hire a company to do the job for you.

Thanks, so much, for participating!
