Does anyone have any resources for creating a short, concise survey about satisfaction of my email newsletter for my house list?

Hi AprilGuy

Either Zoomerang at www.zoomerang.com or Survey Monkey at www.surveymonkey.com work very well.

In addition, they are free for up to 100 responses per survey.

You can either send from your third-party newsletter by inserting in an HTML link they generate for you, or send it directly from your email program i.e. Outlook.

Also, at the bottom of the Survey Monkey home page they list all their major competitors, however, I don't think you will have to go any farther than these two.

I hope that helps.

April, click on the Search Questions link on the right side of this page, the put in the keyword "survey." You'll find that Pepper Blue and other experts have answered similar questions many times... lots more links for you to explore from there!

I use a php script I purchased on my website. You can find this great unlimited survey tool here:
http://www.chumpsoft.com/products/phpq/

I found similar surveys on other websites, then built my own survey in the software using questions I liked (creatively adapted the questions of course).

I e-mailed a link to my customers in an e-mail message. When they clicked on the link, it took them right to the survey I wanted them to fill out.

This survey script is very good. It even summerizes the results for you. You can create unlimited surveys, in different styles, with many many different question formats. Well worth it.

Hope this helps you.

April Guy

Good day to you!

You have received very practical ideas above. I’ve learn’t more than I can contribute, from them. However here are some stray thoughts on your requirement.

Apart from the demographic details like age, gender, etc, the psychographics and ‘mind’ profiling of your newsletter readers will give you inspiring data. If your newsletter is really new, you can take this idea seriously, and get as many relevant indicators of various domains like ‘reading habits’, ‘eye shifting habits’, ‘attractions to what areas of the newsletter’, etc.

THese will lead you to offer a reading service which will be preserved by your audience, because you are talking to them and feeding them on their needs, which is what they are always hungry for.

Hope these thoughts help!

Regards
