I think you should first do some customer or marketing surveys and determine what the customers are looking for. The design and develop some ways to address these needs via process and tools, etc. Then you test these processes and tools somehow and confirm they work - from there build a seminar. people like how-to seminars which are proven.

Seminars mean, something seminal gets generated during a formal meeting period where there is a confluence of homogeneous minds on a common topic of interest. You need to therefore get into all the related specs on retail and consumer banking related financial services.

If your interest rates are low enough and your services stay focussed on providing consumer choices, ensuring less delays and hassels at every stage in the financing process, your finacial services will sell more through its credibility. Your seminar objectives need to be clarified and perfected. Where the demand is expected to be high as in retail and consumer banking areas (as in developing environments), the focus need to be in honing the fine art of conversing well with customers, negotiation skills development, establishing sound process systems etc. These are a few thoughts on your query.

I hope this helps you to generate enough key words for a google search.

All the best!

Who are the potential registrants for the seminar? Have you asked them what they want?

Can you identify any glaring deficiency across the whole industry that the seminar could address and supply possible solutions for?

Do you have access to some leading minds upon whose words the industry will listen with baited breath?

Hope these questions help...
