Maintenance Strategies

Hello, I will like to read some thesis on maintenance strategies and how to maximize maintenance operations. Where can I find this type of information available for free? Thanks in advance for your help.

Mitchell, the only maintenance strategy I'm confident in is changing your oil every 3,000 miles.

Seriously, can you provide a bit more information? Are you talking about maintenance contracts for software licenses? What are you selling, what country are you in, and who are your customers?

The more you can tell us, the better the responses will be from the KHE experts. Thanks!

Shelley

Mitchell as Shelley asks - more informationn please.

What industry?

Maintenance of machinery?

Your email alludes to two definitions of maintenance - of the actual product and to maintain a strategy. Which area are you after?

Hi mitchell:

As said above - we can only guess without better information. If you are talkign about automobile or machinery maintenance - one of the best strategies is to embrace CRM methods, input your customers into a master database (name, address, telephone, vehicle, data purchased, mileage, etc.) and then send out pro-active service reminders and discounts for key service items at the right trigger points.

More information please.

Hello, Mitchell,
You were very vague in your question on maintenance strategy. You did not provide information on which industry you belong to. Do you mean maintaince strategy in the service, utility, production, entertainment, manufacturing, etc? You need to really understand what is meant by strategic planning before you talk about maintenance strategy.
Please, be specific!
