I am starting a photography business. I love to take family, children, seniors and action sports photography. My name is Jenny. I'm pretty open to anything catchy, young and hip!

How about a play on your name...Photo-Jen-Ic or photoJenic? If you don't like that, perhaps something a little more professional sounding, PhotoCapture by Jenny.

While PhotoJenic is truly an interesting and clever name, the meanings behind it - the fact that it refers to a photo studio and to a photographer whose name is Jen - is so vague as to mean almost anything...except that it's the name of a photo studio.
Your next question, if you do go with PhotoJenic, will likely be a request for a tagline to accompany the name. And that's certainly not a bad way to go. Good luck.

I believe in location based names. Even though you believe your biz is the best the fact is some people will use you once or twice. Having a catchy name may seem like a good idea but someone else may ride off your back.
SNaP is a catchy name but someone else may setup against you
Joes Snapit photos.
So if you have a studio where people will pickup there pix and do some studio shots location is better and no one can take that from you.
So Newtown Professional Photography explains it all. Its also a tagline and a google term search. If you want a wider area you could have East London Photo Studio.
Also some other catchy names. Cool Pic, Still Moments.
