Newsletter Name

I am putting together a newsletter, for the purpose of staying in touch with my past & present clients (people with whom I have either sold or are in the process of selling homes to). It will be mailed monthly.

What is your name/the name of your company? Where are your clients located? What kind of information will you be putting in your newsletter? Will it have real value for the recipients, or is it just stories and jokes to keep your name in front of them?

If we know these things, we can help you come up with a good name for your newsletter.

Regardless of the answers to the above, be sure to get their permission to be on your list. Nobody likes spam, and they could react very negatively if you start badgering them with your newsletter when they really don't want it.

I am an Independent contractor, REALTOR, to Dockside Realty in Myrtle Beach SC and my Clients are located in the same area. The newsletter will contain short articles on such topics as What Your Credit Score Affects, Travel Tips, Tips on remodeling, time management tips, trivia questions and thanking people for supporting my business with referrals.

Well not knowing your name perhaps you can title it:

'your name' Monthly News
Did you know...
Realtor Reality
The REALtor Scoop
The REALtor Deal

I'll second what MGoodman stated (get permission) whether you decide an e-newsletter or a direct mail piece it's important you re-confirm that the recipient(s) want to receive your newsletter. You certainly have a better, more cost efficient way to capture your audience and control the 'interested vs. non-interested' via an e-marketing campaign.

Good Luck!

Not sure how to handle this. I want to personally thank every one who responded to my request for candidates for names for my newsletter. The suggestions were all good but I have decided to forego writing a newsletter.

Sincerely Yours,

Jill Klunk
