Slogan For Being In Business For 10 Years

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
Hi all,

We are a commercial insurance brokerage/consulting firm and we are about to hit the 10 years in business milestone. I am in need of a slogan to use on our website, etc. to commemorate this fact. Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Melissa

Do you think anyone will care, or value the fact, that you've only been in business for 10 years? If you do a good job serving your customers, they won't care if you've been around 5 years or 50 years.

I'd focus not on the specific age of the business but on the benefit that brings to the customer. What's in it for them to deal with a company that's 10 years old? If you can express your age as a benefit, then the benefit is what you should focus on. And if you can't express the age as a benefit, there's no reason to put it on your website (or anywhere else, for that matter.)

One of the main reasons we want to commemorate the 10 years is the support from our partners and the dedication of our employees. We are looking to get promotional items made with the slogan to give to employees and partners.

If your target audience is partners and employees, I'd keep the "10 years" thing off the website. Your website looks like it's mostly for customers and prospective customers.

Suggested slogan: "Thanks for 10 great years ... and still counting."

Or, "Over 10,000 satisfied customers served" (or whatever # of clients you've had over the last 10 years). This will provide social proof and implied longevity.
