My friends and I have recently had discussions about wacky web sites -- the ones that you visit to get a chuckle out of, or you just scratch your head at. Thought I'd throw it out to this group to come up with some examples of fun and/or wacky web sites that you've come accross.

To get the ball rolling, here are a few that I've come accross:
* The Human Clock (http://www.humanclock.com)
* Ruminations (http://www.ruminations.com)
* The Disappearing Head Trick (http://www.mackingshow.com/head1.html)

Bring it on -- the ones that make me laugh or chuckle get points! :-)

Jill, funny you should mention this subject, because David Pogue, the Technology columnist at the New York Times, is thinking along the same lines. My weekly e-subscription to "Circuits" arrived today, and here's an excerpt:

= = = = = cut here = = = = =
Our final story tonight concerns the lighter side of the Web — and the cleverness of some unknown Flash programmer. This person has, in effect, created a personal tribute to you — yes, you, the individual viewer of our broadcast — complete with moving music, stunning typography and a deeply moving message.

The address? http://david.pogue.youaremyfriend.com .

But instead of my name, substitute your own first and last names, like http://bill.smith.youaremyfriend.com or http://christie.jones.youaremyfriend.com .

Accept the Flash message, if you get one, and then sit back and enjoy the tribute to the most important person in your life: you. (You might want to wait a day or so after this broadcast, so you don't join thousands of other viewers swamping the Web site by descending all at once.)"

= = = = = cut here = = = = =

Should be fun... but I'm waiting to try it, as Pogue suggests.

Anthony, I trimmed my bangs myself last month, very ineptly, and now I'm afraid I'm at risk of being on the femullet pages.

I haven't laughed at a website so hard in ages!

Yes, Shelley, it's a great website. I love the hunting section! Tips on getting those great mullet pics!

It just makes me cringe at some of the 'characters' on the site!

But I think I found a better site embedded in the mullet site.

Check out http://www.menwholooklikekennyrogers.com

No need to introduce this one. Check out the 'Kenny of the Month'. It's amazing what he gets up to!

Well, I have about 2 years to live!

But if I change my attitude from sadistic to optimistic then I gain 50 years!

Pradeep -- good news! I'm going to live another 59 years and some change! Thanks!
