Need Name For A Modern And Classy E-furniture Shop

Posted by princepieman on 100 Points
I am in the works of creating an online furniture store that sells fresh, new designs of chairs, tables, lamps, and clocks. The idea came to me a couple months ago and now I wnat to realise it. The first step obviously, is to create a name for the store: Here is where I need your help and suggestions for possible names.

If it helps much my potential market are male and females from the ages 25-40 who are in "high flying careers".

Here are some of the names i came up with:

deep decor
outmodern
candida decor
decordeau
furcory

Thanks for the Help!

Regarding ... "The first step obviously, is to create a name for the store". Most here would agree your first step is to write a plan. You need to do the work first - research everything about the marketplace, your target audience, your competitors. Talk with customers, ask questions about their needs, preferences, problems and the like. Take everything you learn and form a STRATEGY as foundation for your marketing efforts on, and as criteria for your name (and maybe a tagline).

The names you have listed may not have any relevance or meaning for your target audience. And you don't want to gamble with something as important as your name selection.

I've completed some initial market research on my target audience and competitors but I am yet to actually interact with them. These names weren't randomly selected I have consulted a few of my high finance friends and their wives. Although, the sample size may be small it's a starting block.

I am really just looking for some more intelligible suggestions to new names that I will then test on some more potential customers.

Apart from social media, what other means would you recommend me to use to test these names further?

For testing I suggest that you do a small Adwords campaign. It is fast and relatively cheap; done properly it gives very clear results.
