Looking For A/b Split Conversion Service
Posted By: jbtutt1e* on 12/27/2004 4:17 PM (CST) 125 Points
Our company is currently looking for an A/B Split Testing Software solution that allows me to test landing page creative by element i.e. red button or blue button. Drive traffic to both and then make tactical changes based on data. Any suggestions on what has worked for you? All advice is welcome. Thanks.

If you Google "rotate landing pages," you will see a number of companies that provide this service.

The one that I hear about the most often is http://www.optimost.com , but that certainly doesn't make them the best.

If you have any technical staff available, you should be able to build the ability to rotate landing pages internally and capture the data that you're looking for.

If you don't have the staff but would prefer to do something in-house, feel free to contact me off-board. I will not offer to do the work for you, but I'd be happy to make a referral, if appropriate, to a freelancer who does great work at reasonable rates.

Good luck,

Paul

I would suggest that you follow the person all the way through until his/her exit from the site and check if the user has taken the necessary action that you want him/her to take (buy a product or register or download something like a trial software or the like). To me the success of the ad depends on the fact if the customer has taken the necessary action that we expect him/her to take. If the user is not taking the desired action and leaving a site then the landing page has failed.
Hope that helps
Regards
Sanjeev
