Tagline Needed For Pet Boutique
Posted By: profs* on 1/6/2005 2:25 AM (CST) 250 Points

I'm hoping ya'll can help me come up with a cute, concise tagline for my online store launching this week (for a preview: http://www.bigdogboutique.com )

I need a tagline that communicates that the unique thing about this company is that our products always include size options for large and extra large dogs. (90% of trendy pet boutiques only carry stuff for the kind of dogs you can fit in a purse :) )

I 'd kind of like the tag to also communicate that we don't cater to big dogs *exclusively* (although the name implies it, I know)

We've thought up:
Canine Style that doesn't exclude the big dogs.
Stylish products for big dogs.
Trendy Stuff for big dogs (small type: and little dogs with big attitudes!)

but all of those are just too awkward and wordy. I'm open to any suggestions.

"Love comes in all sizes."

or

"Canine love comes in all sizes."

Nice website, by the way. The color scheme is a bit drab, but I guess it doesn't matter. Dogs are color blind. ;]

Hi,

Shelley provided some great answers.

Here are a few more for you to consider:

Big dogs. Big fashion.
Where the big dogs go for fashion.
Where big dogs dress smart.
Plus size canine fashion.

Good luck.

Ernie

"caring for large and small"
"Big fashions for your little darlings"
"The place for your dog"
"For dogs - great and small"

All great suggestions! Thank you.

But I want to avoid dog "fashion" or associations with it.

I don't think "canine fashion" appeals to the owner of a large dog as much as, say "stylish pet supplies". There's a fine line between wanting your dog to look stylish and wanting to put a dress on her and put her in your purse. I like to think large dog owners are on the sane side of that line. :)

I think my clientelle is mostly urban dog owners who like their dog's collars and the pet products in their home to be stylish.

I liked Ernie's idea of calling it "plus sized". I'm wracking my breain trying to think of a taglien where that would fit- suggestions? :)

I also like this: "We've got style collared" but it doesn't say anything about sizes.

Thanks for the comment on the colors SRyan... I have a tendency to go all pink so I tried to tone it down- but I do agree it's missing something visuall and maybe that's just a shot of color- thanks.

How about...

Style collared ... for dogs of all sizes

Collars of class ... for dogs of all sizes

Canine chic from smallest to biggest

Cool canine style for all sizes

A touch of canine class for all sizes

Well-bred style for breeds of all sizes

The cool canine's choice, big or small

If I think of any more I'll get back to you.

Pet supplies that breed jealousy.

You've collared canine style.

Style that's through the woof!

Supply your pet with style!

Where Ruff gets ready!

You handsome dog, you!

Size doesn't matter. Style does!

Where all breeds can put on the dog.

"Pet supplies that breed jealousy."

I LOVE it! It's not what I had in mind- yet it's PERFECT.

Thanks so much for all of your help- I think I will be using many of the suggestions throughout other areas.
