Fundi Handyman Tagline
2/24/2005 at 9:45 AM ET
I too need some help with a tagline. My compnay is a handyman business doing home repairs, but I also what to include commercial properties i.e. apartments, office blocks and shopping centres.
Basically this is a new concept am introducing in my country (Uganda, Africa) and we'll do painting, electrical, plumbing and carpentry works for residential and commercial properties. 'Fundi' is a local (swahili) word for someone who does odd jobs. Any ideas for a tagline for both residential & commercial. hint: single source solution provider, efficient & reliable.
Can you help with the Ad campaign too?
Thanks in advance

No, I need the tagline in English. And some of the ones you suggested are a good start.
How about the Ad campaign? Any ideas? Here are the benefits:
#1 No Security fears. Fundi handymen are pre-screened, background checked
#2 Your job is fully guaranteed. Work is done right, If its no good we redo it.
#3 One-call convenience. You save time by not having to call several craftsmen to do whatever you need.

Sorry another one... Do many people use the internet in your country? And what about radio?
2/28/2005 at 2:46 AM
No, not many people use the internet, but radio, yes they do.
Deborah, thank you for yours too. How about if I just wrote a letter say:
.... (what convincing words would i use)??

Is a radio campaign out of the question?
2/28/2005 at 2:59 AM
Oops.... I forgot,
I just found I may not be able to afford costs of printing flyers (mass printing) but I can't photocopy the letters

No, radio campaign is not out of the question. My mind is a bit clogged. Which words should I use, b'coz I want to target homeowners & commercial property owners.
Thanks so much,
I really appreciate your efforts to help

I'll have to give it some thought but while your waiting for ideas I suggest that you start doing some research of your own.
This is a link to a very succesful group here in Australia,
Have a look there and take the time to read the on line book " What will they franchise next?".
