the five star realty is very good, but its not available - there already is a realestate office with that name...

would be nice for a name to have ocean or something - like "ocean front realty"

Especially if your client is interested in franchising this business eventually, the ability to trademark it will be of much importance. Therefore, I would suggest looking for something a bit more unique.

All of the above names are nice but may be hard to distinguish from other businesses. Is your client's last name of any use? Also, how about combining to words to make one unique word, using a twist on a common word or using an italian or french version.

Maybe something like Oceania Realty.

Or if you like something with a feel of regalness how about Platinum Ocean Front Realty.

If your client will be franchising in areas without ocean front property a name including ocean may not be in their best interest.

Also, search www.USPTO.gov for ideas of what isn't available and what others have chosen to do.

Good luck.

Hi Gmil

To help you find a name that is linked to your client you need to ask:

What is unique/different to your client that can help differentiate their services from competitors?

What unique values do they have that can help determine a name to support their mission?

If you do not at least have the info above you will just be another realtor without any foundation or differentiation that will end up relying on price to capture clients.

Your feedback is appreciated.

Hope this helps.

If five star is taken - what about calling yours:

Sixth Star Realty

If you're intersested in ocean (and also the gold and black - an interesting combination...) try:

Ocean's Star Realty
Atlantic Gold Realty

Good luck!

Please consider this response with an open mind -- this is not as a negative response.
With an average sale of only $350,000 in Miami, your client's real estate office is not going to be one that will appeal to the upper crust. Upscale property there (and certainly, ocean-front or ocean-view property) will be seven-digits.
Is that the Perception the client wants to build -- that his or her firm is for the very wealthy? Will the potential clients of the firm be met with the highest quality facility, in an upscale location and with impeccably dressed agents driving Jags, MB's, 7 Series BMS's, etc?
Please provide a bit more info.
Thanks.
