What Is A Best Way To Sell A New Hotel Concept?
Posted By: jonathan.brown* on 3/9/2005 5:32 PM (CST) 100 Points
I'm working on a project of hotel, where we have to make a communication plan (for school work).

This new hotel concept is similar to motels, but people will feel more comfortable than in a regular motel.

Then, the word «harmony» is one of the objectives of the project. So everything must be esthetic, good-presented and with a touch of design.

We also have to input a e-commerce strategy where around 40% of custommers will buy the service online.

Could you please help me and give me some good tips and advices ? Thank you so much

J. Brown

I think the word of hotel you said ** Harmony**
Must be carefully define, what's harmony for your hotel?
Harmony in decoration design? or harmonize with the target group?

Have you find the target group?
If it's similar to motel, what people feel more comfortable,
what could make your homotel better.could it be big bed? could it be large toilet? could it be kitchen built in equipped with kitchen tools?

Then set the positioning of your product ,it could be ** A home motel** ,since you said it's better than normal motel and they feel harmony... if i were you, I would set its positioning as Home Motel
i don't know whether it works but write me also your feed back!

Develop alliances with travel agencies, airline plans, local events near your location (restaurants, special places, entertainment activities), you will need to be in hotels.com or in any important web site related to your business.

Also I would suggest that you have some good tips for the cab drivers who bring in the customers to you. Many people ask the cab drivers for suggestions on good motel.
