    hi there

i agree with Simon that the paper The Guardian should at first determine which spectrum of the US & canadian citizens. Who are its target consumers, Left-minded people, right wing ppl, neo-conservatives, hawks etc. Also we need to know the consumer profile of the target market.

based on your target market/audience, target consumer profile, you should develop your campaigns. anyway some campaign theme ideas centered around which you can create a campaing are...........

    1. The Guardian -- World News from the World's Perspective

    2. The Guardian -- Bringing the World at your doorstep, everymorning

    3. The Guardian -- Ensuring Freedom of Speech

btw, Simon mentioned an interesting point of the name itself might convey a right-wing impression. if you are not that kinda paper then your gotta ensure that this undesired impression is NOT communicated.

    hope this helps.

    cheers!!
