Glue will undoubtedly stay the longest.

Best look is very subjective - depends on what you are after and what type of hair you have.

Hair gels are all the same, just different brands. Pick one and use it.

Why are you the king of the turnips?

I have used a lot of different gels and the truth is:

DON'T

Almost every gel causes alopecia (i.e. you get bald)
Believe me. I almost couldn't save my gorgeous hair.

Yep, glue. Seriously... go with any stong hold gel and mix it 2:1 with good old Elmer's. Remember those guys in the 80's with the two-foot spiked mohawks? Elmer's was key.

I think you are at a wrong forum.

To get the right answer I think it would be beter if you found a forum of hair stylist or the like.

Experts here will give you personal opinion on basis of their own experience with the gel which might be much when compared to the hair stylist. Since you are going to go in the modelling business I guess you must be knowing some hair stylist.

Gel aside, hair products I'd recommend include those made by these brands:

The Body Shop
Nexxus Products
Paul Mitchell

I'd recommend hosting a "big hair party". Invite all your friends to come with their hair sticking straigh up or out as the "theme." Then, simply ask everyone what they used for the best effect!

Turnip King - Ever seen "Something about Mary"?

Well, forget that, try Araldite.

Sheldon, I dunno.... really, I don't...

PS... Don't really try Araldite unless you are prepared to shave off your hair afterwards!

i dont know where you are from, but try using Fevicol or Aica Abon. these are really leading brands in this segment, at least in this part of the world ;-))

and you are not satisfied then mix a Chocolate Bar with Sulpheuric Acid and apply the resulting paste as the Hair gel. ;-))))

Note of Caution: be prepared to have your skull burnt with acid. ;-))

cheers!!

This is my favorite question ever! I kind of feel like I've been hit with an online mystery shopper.

With a grand wave of the arm, I am smiling and directing our "model" to the Sebastian line of products. "They have a wonderful clean smell, not that too sweet fruity stuff," said, still smiling as I open the container so I can smell and let the "model" have a whiff too. "Your hair is just gorgeous! This product works very well on long, thick, blonde hair." "Model" smiles and takes the product from my hand. I flash an, oh this "model" is beautiful and smart glance toward "model" and ask, "Is there anythng else you'll be needing today?" Then we continue through the store gathering ALL of the items "model" needs. Finally, when the shopping is done, I turn to direct "model" to the cash register. "Thank you and please come in again if I can ever be of assistance." I say as I see the commission on my next check adding up...

Dear chriskingofturnips,

I am closing this question and refunding your points since this is clearly not a marketing question.

Regards,
Carrie
