Pig Slogan For Real Estate/mortgage Professional
Posted By: kelleybred* on 5/5/2005 12:54 AM (CST) 250 Points
I just got into real estate in the Corona/Norco, CA area. I want to differentiate myself from the masses and need a clever slogan utlizing my darling pot belly pig (vs a dog, for pet lovers etc.) I have a great photo of her and I on the stairwell inside the house. Since they are known to be intelligent and they are out of the norm as a pet, it could be a clever way--with a great slogan to be remembered. "two minds are better than one when it comes to buying/selling your home or No bacon here.. are some of the lame ones I came up with. CAN YOU PLEASEEEE HELP! I need to utilize the slogan ASAP.
Thanks in advance for your creatively, genius ideas.

Kel,

I'd really like to help, and I could easily write you a tagline that would do what you want.

As a branding professional, I have to ask you a question or two:

What are the attributes of a pot-belly pig that are common to all people in your target audience that you would want to establish visual brand equity around it?
What makes a pig's home something your clients would want to emulate or aspire to be like?

These questions are the basics for establishing a brand. If you can answer them convincingly, we will have the basis on which to build you a GREAT tagline.

HOWEVER

If these questions seem a bit "off," the perhaps you might understand that there might be better choices for your brand identity.

Hope this helps!

Best,

::JBtron

Kelly,
I am also unsure about the concept of using your pig to brand yourself. You might consider testing your new slogan ideas against more traditional ones. (show friends, clients and coworkers a list of potential tags and ask for feedback.)

IF you decide to use the pig, here are some ideas to start with.
Pig … hog (Having a hard time with this one)

Hogging the market to sell your home
Don’t get stuck in a hovel
This little piggy finds a home
Rooting out the best deals for you

Better …
Helping you find a home that fits your unique family. (with your photo)
Intelligent choices in real-estate

Good Luck,
Jo

Hi. Thanks for the quick feedback. If you have any other ideas, please let me know. I know it sounds a bit wacky but in Norco area, it is/was farm/horse area. I would be selective as to who I target the sloganned paperwork to however, there are so many "PIG HEADED" realtors in our area, not to mention realtors who don't know their head from a hole in the wall, I thought I could set myself apart immediately by incorporating my pet pot belly pig into my mailers. Alot of kids in my area already know that I have her but their parents don't necessarily. Since she goes in and out of the house thru the doggie door, like a dog, and many realtors incorporate their dogs into their bizcards etc., I thought I could "brand" her with me to a targeted community but the slogan needs to be clever enough to work. Any help would be truly appreciated!!!!

You could play on the storybook theme in your marketing materials
- find your happily-ever-after
- why settle for a "straw house" broker when you can have Kelleybred Realty?
-making fairytale homes a reality
etc.

We've got a winner for you.

"We have a nose for real estate"

The pig nose image is a very well known one... now the question is - will having a pig around be a turnoff for some of your clients?

Let us know if we can help you with any branding issues you might have.

Best,

Stokefire
