You could have mentioned the target market and the location for a better targetted tagline. Do it if you find time..

I'll try to give my share of response

G-TRON
"U live coz of environment..."

G-TRON
"put in your effort to save..."

G-TRON
"the nature stop..."

G-TRON
"Now.... stand behind your silencer"

Hope it helps.. Do give further details for better responses.

G-tron.... your pass to the pollution free envoirnment

Empower your vehicle with enviornment friendly G-tron

drink coconut, drive coconut as G-tron

G-tron License to combat pollution

G-tron License to kill pollution

I know, with some of the above I just got carried away but never mind if it can be helpful.
Good luck.

O.k. here's my $0.02

First - product name, can it be changed? It's very tech-y and has no implied benefit or association to cocunuts, biodesiel etc. If you change the product name, less need for a catchy tagline.

Cocounuts remind me of the great milk inside, smooth, fresh, and energetic. Drivers are looking for cheaper fuel, better performance, and convenience.

Clean-nut Desiel
CocoSauce Desiel
CleanCoco Desiel

G-Tron - Faster than a falling coconut
G-Tron - Crack open clean fuel today
G-Tron - Clean, natural and smooth running
G-Tron - as easy as falling off a tree
G-Tron - healthy air, healthy engine

For fun: If copyright is not too much of an issue check out Widespread Panic's song "I like coconuts" - would be a great soundtrack

Hi Jesi,

What else will the product do?

It will be hard to change consumer patterns based on cleaner air or the coconut industry alone.

Although it all sounds good, most people are driven by their own self-interests and needs – Whether we realize it or not, it’s human nature.

As a consumer ask yourself this question.

What will g-tron do for me? Right here – Right now?

Why should I go out of my way and: Change driving patterns - Shopping patterns – Change brand loyalty – Pay more – Pay less - Or why is it less? Is it cheap, or more economical?

Here is an example of a slogan I did for a client of mine. Take note of the word “Because” within the phrase. It gives the prospect a “reason why” or rational and believable explanation of our statement and why the consumer should do business with us.

More Than Just Quality … Best Prices – Guaranteed!
Because We Cut Out The Middle Man

It gives the consumer a definite reason to select you over your competition.

It is also called a USP or Unique Selling Proposition.

Many slogans are cute and funny and are remembered, but that is not enough to make the consumer hand over their money.

Many large corporations waste millions of dollars on catchy slogans – You know the ones that we just sing or whistle while walking in the front doors of their competition.

I hope this helps, and good luck.

Hey jesi!

What an exciting question! I have been following the biodiesel industry for awhile and am excited whenever I hear about someone actually going forward with a commecial application!

A lot of good suggestions and comments, but I want to raise a couple of my own:

There will be a small market for your product solely on its environmental and non-petroleum nature. There is another market that I think is much larger that is interested but needs to get past some concerns. Their cheif concerns will be "Is it safe for my car?" and "What will it cost me to use this?" Therefore, your promotions should address this. Something lilke "Safe for your car AND safe for the environment."

I would not emphasize the coconut origin of your product unless it is grown on the island. If it is, I would use an economic development angle in your message. You could use a message along the lines of "Why buy fuel from shieks overseas when you can buy it from farmers/growers here on the island?" of "Meet the local fuel barons (with a picture of local coconut growers)" If you import the coconuts, I would emphasize the environmental aspects and that the fuel is local grown.

Does the use of the fuel give off a coconut aroma? If so, I would make sure to mention that. I know that biodiesel that uses cooking oil sometimes smells like french fries.

I hope this helps!

hi there

great response from experts. i agree with Bill regarding using the "safety" features in the tag line.

some ideas....

G-Tron: "Coconut Juice for your Car"

G-Tron: "My car runs on Coconut oil, what about yours?"

G-Tron: "Bio-Safe Fuel for your Safety"

G-Tron: "Safe Environment from Safe Fuel"

hope that helps.

cheers!!
