Can Anyone Help With A Tagline Or Slogan?
Posted By: alfababe* on 6/9/2005 5:41 PM (CST) 125 Points
Big Dog Farm needs a slogan or a tag line.
It should be easy, but I just can't get it!
This mini farm shows, breeds and rescues
Newfoundlands, Great Pyrenees Dogs. BDF also shows and breeds (haha)... Chinese Crested dogs!
The Slogan focus could be humorous, informative,??? Breeding and Showing dogs is a very competitive business. The focus is divided between selling show and pet puppies and taking in rescues.
Any ideas will be appreciated!

alfababe,
This is my take for the taglines:

"BOW WOW!! Bow to our Breeding and Wow for the Displays we offer!"

"We breed. We Show. We Rescue. - And Napolean didnt say that!"

"We have'em with us. And if yours are lost, we would have them with us too!"

"Rescuers by profession. Selling by business. And Displays by Work. But for now, we are in the Dogs Business"

"Help us help you. We offer our services, and dogs too!"

Hope this helps!
Regards,
Puru

Thanks again for the responses. I am in the beginning process of marketing a private label line of dog food as well as other pet related items.
I thought I would use this for the foods formulated for small breeds,
"Big Dog Farm Small Breed Food...for Little Dogs That Think Big"!
I liked that but can't figure out how to tie it into my Big Dog Farm name and can't think of a slogan or tag that goes well with it for the Big Dogs.
I also thought of that before the mass movement of the phrase "Think Big", and now don't know if it is original or not.
Thanks again for any help, Andrea

"Big Dog Farm: Small Breed Food for Little Dogs WHO Think Big"!

People like to think of their dogs as human. "Who" fits better.

I'm imagining an "Every dog's a Big Dog" campaign. Everyone knows that small feisty breeds act like they're the biggest dog around--how about playing on that with sort of a "delusions of grandeur" theme? Perhaps a small breeds head obviously superimposed and photoshopped on top of heroic dog bodies in Lassie poses--bringing aid to lost hikers in the Alps, rescuing children ala Rin Tin Tin. Kind of a Thurber fantasy world for chihuahuas and corgis. Good luck!

Thanks! These suggestions are all great!! What do you think about the tag line being:
Big Dog Farm...Where Every Dog's a BIG DOG!!
Also, I can almost see the packaging, copy and marketing campaign. I think you guys are great!
Sincere thanks....Andrea
