Brand Consultancy Firms
Posted By: badenhop* on 6/28/2005 10:12 AM (CST) 125 Points
Can anyone kindly provide me with the name of Brand Consultancy firms that provide both corporate and product branding services.
Specifically, brand architecture, name development and logo design, research and measurement, brand valuation, brand positioning and ROI modeling.

Thanks,

Stephen B

Hi Stephen

Quite a few of us do this for a living outside this forum. Can you provide any further details? industry, background of organization,B2B/B2C, location, reasons why you need to re-brand/re-position etc

What are your expectations? Do you have a serious budget?

Why not post your project here on the KHE Project Board so the relevant experts can potentially bid for your project?

Hope this helps.

These come in all shapes and sizes. Some probably wouldn't look at you, some would be all wrong for whatever it is that you want to do, some might be too small, too big, too specialized in an industry, or other such limitation.

The question is a legitimate one, but much like asking someone here for names of restaurants without adding any parameters to it at all.

Like you have been told, it all depends on what you are willing to spend. That being said, here are some of the bigger firms.

There are numerous firms depending on what you want to accomplish. My firm approaches brand architectures using a variety of techniques which take into account the emotional components as well. It really depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Having worked at Interbrand London for the last five years I have found that the market is full of excellent design agencies - both big and small. However there is still a lack of strong brand-focussed consultancies in the performance assessment, brand valuation and marketing ROI fields.

In general the management consultancies still have a stronger approach to these complex areas. However there a number of heavyweight brand-focussed consultancies emeging.

As an aside, there is a huge amount of really relevant, useful, educational and interesting information on most of the websites listed above, most have downloadable articles & publications that are really worth checking out. There's a typo in the Wolf Olins link too, should be www.wolff-olins.com :)

I recommend Beveridge Seay (www.bevseay.com), a firm located in Washington, which provides these services under a rate schedule that is affordable for all businesses.
